The Senior Developer is responsible for the technical
implementation of a wide variety of project types including Web, CD-ROM,
and DVD development, long and short form animations, and email campaigns.
Senior Developers work with designs and storyboards created by the
Art Director and Designers, offering technical expertise as required
during the design process, especially in the areas of forms interface
usability and bandwidth considerations.
The Senior Developer works on projects on which they are the sole
Developer or on projects for which they take on a leadership role,
with other Developers working under their guidance. In such instances
the Senior Developer may provide the project methodology and delivery
mechanism for the project, as well as delegation of project tasks
to other Developers based on their skill level and areas of expertise.
Senior Developers are able to work on several concurrent projects,
and are flexible in managing their time while maintaining the ability
to meet day-to-day deadlines and other non-project related responsibilities
in a timely manner.
Senior Developers may become involved in sales related efforts,
providing technical expertise and development time estimates, where
needed. Senior Developers have the ability to interact with clients
in a confident manner, including occasional attendance in client
facing meetings.
