Requirements/Qualities:
Your experience should include 5-7 years of professional web design experience working for a design firm or in a corporate environment. A design degree is preferred (BFA/MFA in graphic design, digital media design or other visual arts). Should possess formal training in typography, interactive design, information design and other creative disciplines. You must be familiar with user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design web sites with complex information or functionality. You should be a team player, able to work with product managers, developers, production coordinators and other designers in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment. You?ll work on multiple projects under light supervision, communicate clearly, respond to constructive feedback from the team and internal customers, and be able to provide constructive criticism and feedback on other projects as well. You should possess strong conceptual skills, a meticulous eye for detail and be able to take responsibility for a project from inception to completion. A strong eye for typography and color combined with a clean, contemporary visual aesthetic should be strongly evident in your portfolio. Experience with print media is desired, though not required. Candidates should have the ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

Software/Skills:
Mastery of the following software is mandatory: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, and Macromedia Dreamweaver. You should be able to design sites that work across multiple browsers, on both Mac and PC platforms. Substantial experience with Flash action scripting, HTML coding and CSS is required. Knowledge with Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress, PHP, MYSQL, and javascript are a plus.
